講演題目:Potential energy saving through data envelopment analysis relying on quality of life in the demand side
講演概要:Data envelopment analysis (DEA) method is used to measure the overall energy effeciency of the energy system in various countries. The economics and population are applied to select homogenous countries before conducting the DEA. A suitable input- and output-oriented models are utilized for the supply and demand sides analysis by relying on the quality of life. The results of the supply side showed that the highest potential energy saving (PES) sources belong to the non-renewables in power stations, followed by refineries, then renewables, while the corresponding PES for the demand-side analysis belonged to countries with high populations and strong economies.
