講演題目：Stochastic robust optimization in social impact-constrained energy planning
講演概要：In this study, stochastic robust optimization considering multiple uncertainties are implemented in order to optimize the future energy planning. Projections of demand forecasting, reduction in renewable energy cost, and increased capacity factor of renewable energy power plants are incorporated as scenario-based uncertain parameters. The results are in ranges of optimal solution based on the stochastic requirements, while the fluctuation still be controlled by the defined robust function. The case study of Thailand, where the social impact is critical factor in decision making of energy scheme, is featured. Besides the requirements of power plant’s technical specification and robust function, three main missions of energy planning are included as constraints namely; security of supply, environmental protection and economic competitiveness. The scope of empirical study includes both fossil-fueled and renewable energy in the grid. The result of the model could help policy makers making decision on power development planning with multiple uncertainties.
